​​​Basketball is the second sports offering of the school year taking place in late October to November.  All interested students in Grades 4-6 are welcome to participate.  Practices will take place during lunch hour.  The District will be organizing game days as posted below:

2022 Basketball Highlights:

The Deroche Bears had an amazing season and it was great to be back playing ​with COVID restrictions lifted.  A special thank you to Mr. Stubley for coaching the team and spending countless hours practicing with the students.  The progress in the team was remarkable!  Way to go Bears!

2019 Basketball Results:

We had another great basketball season this year with several returning players on the team.  Thanks to our coaches Mrs. MacMillan and Mrs. Laughlin for working with our athletes.

Our Deroche Bears had a great basketball season and the growth of our players was tremendous.  Thanks to our coaches Mr. Fitch and Mrs. Laughlin and to all of the parents who came out to support the team on game days!
